OVERLOADED- LIFE IN FOCUS

Description
A photo campaign that is part of the larger Life in Focus mock campaign in partnership with Kodak . Tapping into the digital overload that Millennials and Gen Z experience, we hope our images encourage viewers to pause and reflect on their own lives—perhaps recognizing their own digital overwhelm.

The Ask: Develop a creative campaign for a brand that addresses the climate crisis.

Get: Creative & stressed Millennials + Gen Zers

To: Adopt a new mindset and hobby to destress from a fast-paced digital world.
By: Using a Bio-disposable Kodak Camera, allowing the user to stay in the moment and see life authentically and unfiltered

*This shoot was apart of my creative strategist class and was not a requirement. Shoot concepting done by me.

TROPOCELL ft. Max Stuebe

“‘Tropo’ meaning turn or change, and ‘cell’ because of the cellular structures it emulates.” -Max Stuebe

Max, a third-year UO Product Design major, asked me to photograph his final project involving CAD and 3D printing. Since I primarily shoot portraits, I took on the project to push myself outside my comfort zone. I collaborated with Charles Northern and Max Unkrich to curate multiple moody lighting set-ups in alignment with Max’s vision board.

I learned how to...
-enhance a product’s features using lighting techniques
-execute product arrangement
-collaborate with a designer outside the SOJC (School of Journalism) and gain insight into their process
