ALIGN MAG-THE FINAL GIRL

Applied for the photographer position and collaborated with an art director, graphic designer, writers, and models to execute both the AD and writer’s vision.

Premise
“The shoot focused on emulating and commentating on the traditional roles of women in the “Slasher” film genre. With a specific focus on the main three tropes of the virgin, the tomboy, and the sexual women, we created a shoot to highlight the inadequacies of the classic set up. Overall, our goal was to flip the narrative  that the shoot prompted the viewer to rethink the slasher genre and its portrayal of women.” -Eva Frezza (Art Director)
